From the moment the curtain was first pulled back on the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, it's been quite the talk of the town in this industry of ours. As much as we love its bold new redesign here at Red Bluff Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, some folks are still a bit divided.

But as for our friends in the Great White North, they just can't get enough of it.

Just recently, the Automobile Journalist Association of Canada (AJAC) announced the winners of their 26th annual Canadian Car of the Year awards. For those unfamiliar, it was a celebration of the very best model-year vehicles across a variety of segments and price brackets. Each model that was up for contention was put through an exhaustive series of performance evaluations by a jury of 80 automotive journalists.

And when it was time to name the 'Best New SUV/CUV Under $35,000', it was none other than the 2014 Cherokee that stood tall above the rest. As for why they loved it so, well, it was built with them in mind.

"From the outset, our Jeep engineers wanted the Cherokee to completely redefine what Canadian consumers should expect from a mid-size SUV," says Reid Bigland, President and CEO of Chrysler Canada. "This award from the members of AJAC is a fantastic, expert endorsement of the capability, technology and refinement built into our all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee."1

So if you'd like to see for yourself why Canada's so crazy about this award-winning SUV, your test drive awaits at our dealership here in Red Bluff, CA. Those Canadians, man. God bless those Canadians.
