Here at Red Bluff Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, we love learning exciting news about our family of vehicles, and the month of October has been especially good for the Jeep brand. The Grand Cherokee has done exceptionally well, winning four separate awards at two competitions.
At the Texas Truck Rodeo, the Texas Auto Writers Association awarded it the "Mid-Size SUV of Texas" title, with the Summit trim picking up the "Mid-Size Luxury SUV" title. Last we week, we read in a press release that the Phoenix Automotive Press Association has chosen the Grand Cherokee for its first ever "Best of the Southwest" award, presented at the Carpsondent.com Active Lifestyle Vehicle Competition. Additionally, ALV members gave the Grand Cherokee top marks in the Luxury Of-Road Vehicle category.
Panelists loved the Grand Cherokees off-road capabilities, fuel-efficient EcoDiesel engine, and premium comfort and convenience features. ALV co-founder, Nina Russin, commented ", the Grand Cherokee can keep up with the demanding lifestyles of elite and recreational athletes who need a daily commuter during the week, but a highly off-road capable vehicle for the weekend.”
