They say real legends never die. That's the case with the 2016 Jeep Wrangler, which has served faithfully since the nameplate came into existence in 1986. With the most recent update in 2007, the Wrangler is technically getting long in the tooth by automotive standards. Yet, defying all convention, it continues to sell like proverbial hotcakes.

The video above from AutoGuide explores the reason for the Wrangler's continued success. While it makes a pretty good case, we have a few theories of our own. Last year, the Wrangler had its best year ever on market, pushing north of 255,000 units around the world. With lower gas prices, the car's war-forged off-road capability and slew of modern features, it comes as no surprise to us. But we'll let you make up your mind when you stop by our dealership for a test drive.

Speaking of which, if you have a hankering to take the Wrangler for a spin, our Jeep dealership in Red Bluff, CA is your local spot to make the magic happen. Stop by our showroom, contact us by live chat, or drop us a line by phone or email and we'll sign you right on up.
