To increase the 6.7-liter Cummins inline-6 diesel engine's torque, Ram teamed up with Cummins to develop improvements that produced the additional 30 pound feet while maintaining the engine's hallmark efficiency and durability.
Also, the team at Ram Engineering designed a new hitch that provides owners with a 30,000-pound fifth wheel towing capacity -- so they can haul the heaviest trailers in the industry. Customers now have the ability to haul trailers that previously would have been limited to 24,000 pounds.
