The Dodge Charger is one of America's favorite performance vehicles. It's one of the most athletic and powerful cars on the road today. Depending on the configuration of this car, it gets up to 797 horsepower. With that kind of power under the hood, fuel efficiency is bound to suffer somewhat. But overall, the Charger is a well-engineered and balanced ride.

On city streets, the Charger gets up to 19 mpg. That's not half bad for a muscle car. Where the Charger really shines in terms of efficiency is on the highway at up to 30 mpg. The Charger's drivetrain is a little heavy. Delivering maximum power to the rear wheels affects fuel efficiency.

Still, for the power it packs, Charger is far more fuel efficient than its namesake. The original Charger got about 9-10mpg. Clearly, Dodge's engineers have upped their game. We'd love to show you the new Dodge Charger at Benny Brown's Red Bluff Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
